About the Product
Chittara is a folk art practiced by the Deewaru community in Northern Karnataka. The walls are colored with red mud found abundantly in the region and designs are drawn in white paint derived from rice paste and white mud. Potli is a member of Fairtrade Forum-India. We follow all Fairtrade practices laid down by the Forum. This kit directly supports the artisans and helps in sustaining their art form.
Educational Objective
This kit encourages art integrated learning through non-digital and tactile play. We stimulate fine motor skills, creative thinking, and imaginative play while sharing the rich cultural heritage of India.
